Quote

A thing of beauty is a joy forever: Its loveliness increases; it will never pass into nothingness; but still will keep a bower quiet for us, and a sleep full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing.
Endymion, John Keats

Good morning Mr Siken :) One of the many aspects of your poetry that I find so fascinating is the way the lines are arranged visually on paper (sometimes using the space of the whole page instead of just being in one column or "typical" stanzas) so I was wondering: how do you decide on what a poem should look like on the page, i.e. does the visual arrangement play a role in the overall character of the poem?

Think: sheet music. Think: scored for human breathing.
