String Quarter in F Major -- II. Assez vif by Maurice Ravellisten here
A thing of beauty is a joy forever: Its loveliness increases; it will never pass into nothingness; but still will keep a bower quiet for us, and a sleep full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing.Endymion, John Keats
as a general rule i dont like jokes made about people’s appearances and that includes jokes about bad people’s appearances because i just feel like it is not only irrelevant to the conversation but also to a certain extent it negates the credibility or meaningfulness of genuine and legitimate criticism about the person. in making comments about a bad person’s appearance it also implies that their badness and their appearance are somehow related which is upsetting on multiple levels as well. i just find it really troubling and upsetting how often ppl seem to look for excuses to call somebody ugly, and obv when the person is a woman its even more pervasive & the comments are almost always incredibly misogynistic
