String Quarter in F Major -- II. Assez vif by Maurice Ravellisten here
A thing of beauty is a joy forever: Its loveliness increases; it will never pass into nothingness; but still will keep a bower quiet for us, and a sleep full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing.Endymion, John Keats
sometimes I think about Gatiss and Moffat looking at “scarlet” and saying “let’s make it pink“ and then basing the pilot mystery around a promiscuous pink lady and ending John and Sherlock’s first night on a
datecase with Sherlock looking up at him and screaming “PINK!” like can’t you fucking observe?? and John gazing up at Sherlock in the moonlight while Sherlock looks for the missing pink case that he eventually unearths from a pile of garbage and John tracking Sherlock down using the pink phone and saving his life and then later they kicked off Jim and Sherlock’s firstdategame by having Jim send Sherlock that pink phone from John and Sherlock’s firstdatecase and Jim texts and calls like crazy and Sherlock spends half the episode checking the pink phone obsessively and wondering about Jim and John gets more and more irritated and basically like John says “there was a lot of pink”and I wonder if when Gatiss and Moffat finished writing those scripts they looked at each other were like “are we being too obvious?”
