A thing of beauty is a joy forever: Its loveliness increases; it will never pass into nothingness; but still will keep a bower quiet for us, and a sleep full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing.Endymion, John Keats
Why do movies do that thing where they zoom up really close on people kissing? Is there really anyone who actually wants to see that??????
I was at a live musical the other day and the many characters kissed during a really dramatic moment and as soon as their lips touched, the music cut and it was totally silent and I accidentally loudly said “EW!” And so to answer your question, no, no I do not want to see that, but especially not at a live musical where I will embarrass myself
Yikes, for sure, yeah, I mean at least I was in the comfort of my own home. What musical was it? That sounds like kind of a cool effect
I mean I guess I accept that kisses are dramatically necessary, general, but the tom hooper-esque closeups just make me horrifyingly uncomfortable
